He's frail, he's fragile, he's toxic, and he's threatening to poison a Titans passing game that otherwise looks pretty promising.
- Jake Locker has the potential to be a better-passing - and less douchey - Tim Tebow.
- When he's on, Chris Johnson is fantastic as a receiver from the running back position.
- Jared Cook is a supertalented new-wave "move" tight end.
- Kendall Wright has legit go-to potential, and at the very least has the chance to be the best rookie wide receiver this season.
- Nate Washington is a really good, reliably productive second wide receiver.
- Damian Williams is a pimp in the slot.
The only thing that's wrong here is Kenny Britt.
From The Huddle...
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knees) had a second knee surgery, this time on his left knee, in late June after he experienced swelling. Britt had surgery earlier in the year on his right knee after he tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments last September.
Huddle Up: He actually had a second procedure on that right 'ACL' knee this offseason. That's three times doctors have had to go into his knees. This is unsettling. Nate Washington is looking like a bargain in the 10th to 12th round; though he'll climb sharply if the Britt news remains ominous.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt was arrested and charged with DUI Friday, July 20.
Huddle Up: As if the multiple knee surgeries weren't red flag enough, now Britt has this to deal with. Move Kendall Wright (current ADP in the 12th round) and Nate Washington (current ADP in Round 14) up your cheat sheets accordingly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is headed to New York, and he will meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Monday, Aug. 6. It will be determined then whether Britt faces disciplinary action from the league for his July 20 arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Huddle Up: All signs point to a suspension for the talented but troubled Britt, who also is dealing with other issues this preseason. The wideout is recovering from three knee surgeries in the past 9 months and is on the Titans' PUP list. Keep moving Britt down your WR rankings.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt posted a photo of a letter from the Titans organization that informed him of a $9,915 team fine for an unexcused mandatory scheduled appointment with a trainer.
Huddle Up: Britt just returned from his visit with Roger Goodell in New York and allegedly skipped his knee treatment. He posted a lovely rant on his Instagram account: "Yu gotta be (expletive) kidding me.. walk back to dis.. Dont dey know I have kids .. Im tired of did (expletive)." It seems he's purposely trying to miss half the season, bad knees or not. Beware of this Britt cat, he's not in the right state of mind.
