Wednesday FAABnalysis -- 11/6/13

I said it on the message board.

This week's issue is going to be really, reeeeeaaaally short and stripped-down. It'll still be posted Wednesday afternoon (assuming all things go as planned), but I have a beast of a week on tap and wifey is out of town so I'm also a single dad.

Anyway. Control your expectations. It'll be a FAABnalysis lightning blitz.

What are the good claims for this week, anyway? Nick Foles? Rashad Jennings? Lance Moore? Color me underwhelmed.

Okay, here we go, really fast and raw, like one big giant Dumpster Diving section.

But first, you DO get a soundtrack.

Nick Foles, $19 to Russ -- Backup for Cam.  Big bid.  I get it, but I don't like it.  Seven touchdowns is hard to argue, but I still kinda think Foles is a bum steer.

Rashad Jennings, $15 to Patrick -- Perhaps a one week rental.  Perhaps not even that much of a rental (will Run DMC play?)  $15 was the right play for a team that is absolutely RB-needy, but the upside is minimal here.

Shonn Greene, $5 to Rookie -- Really?  Shonn Greene?  I bet this was one of those times (we've all had 'em), where you crack open the auction report and feel your nuts clench tight when you see what you've won.  CONGRATULATIONS, ROOKIE.

Ryan Tannehill, $5 to Chad -- I'm a Tanny fan, so this one looks nice to me.

Doug Baldwin, $5 to Ben -- Meh, I like Jermaine Kearse better, if you're scraping for a Seahawks receiver who might fill the Sidney Rice void.

Jerricho Cotchery, $4 to Mark -- He's having a little bit of a late career renaissance right now.  I've always been a Cotchery fan, and there's some TD potential here.  Not bad.

Bobby Wagner, $3 to Rookie -- Great claim.

Leonard Hankerson, $2 to Mark -- He's healthy, and they like to force it to him when he's on the field.  You could do worse for an end-of-bench player.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, $1 to Nathan -- Law Firm is a good player in real life, but he can't help you in fantasy.  More importantly, he won't help you in fantasy.  It's the Gio Show now.

Aldon Smith, $1 to Joe -- He's sober?

Cole Beasley, $0 to Rookie -- Notable because of the Tavon Austin drop.  Was that a 2nd rounder, Rook?

Mohamed Sanu, $0 to Rookie -- Love Sanu, but there are a lot of mouths to feed.

Christian Ponder, $0 to Norris -- FARTSOUND.

Dennis Pitta, $0 to Joe -- Now THIS is fucking interesting.

Joe Flacco, $0 to Kirk -- One letter away from Falco.  (Yes, that's another Shane Falco reference.  Fuck you.)
